Tina Suen

Tina completed an Honors Thesis in Computer Science titled “Security of Ad Hoc Networks.” With Dr. Alec Yasinsac, Tina researched the development of secure routing protocols for ad hoc networks. Ad hoc networks can be used in a range of environments including military battlefields, sensor networks, and even virtual classrooms.

Tina was invited to join FSU’s chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest and most prestigious undergraduate honors organization, during her junior year in the spring of 2003. The Florida State University chapter of Phi Beta Kappa was established in 1935, and was the first chapter authorized in the State. Tina also served as a webmaster and computer programmer for FSU’s Center of Ocean-Atmospheric Predictions Studies (COAPS).

Tina graduated in 2005 and is pursuing a master’s degree in Information Security at Florida State University.
