Visiting Honors/Previews

Visit the Honors Office and the FSU Campus
We are always happy to meet with prospective students and their parents. To arrange a meeting with one of our Honors advisors, email us at honors@fsu.edu or call us at (850) 644 1841.

If you are planning a visit to FSU, we also suggest you contact the FSU Visitors Center by going to http://www.visit.fsu.edu/. Through the Center, you can take a bus tour of the campus, go on a guided walking tour, attend an admissions session, or visit a residence hall.

Preview for Accepted Students
Admitted students have the opportunity to attend a special session devoted to Honors during the five open houses or “previews” that are held throughout the spring. At these sessions, you will be able to meet with Honors advisors and some of our Honors student assistants. This is a great opportunity to get a more detailed look at our program and have your questions answered in person!

During preview, prospective students will also be able to visit Landis Hall, the residence hall that is reserved for Honors students. In addition, all departments will have representatives ready and willing to meet with you to discuss their programs. An activities fair will give you a sampling of the clubs and organizations that enhance FSU student life.

Need help with transfer credits? Unsure about picking courses? Thinking about doing a double major or minor?

The Honors Office advisors can help you with all of the above. Our experienced advisors have extensive knowledge of disciplinary requirements in all majors, and they are ready to help you in a one-on-one advising session.
