Bobbie Fernandez

Originally from Atlanta, Georgia, Bobbie earned her B.A. and M.A. in the History and Criticism of Art from the University of Georgia and Florida State University, respectively. Prior to joining FSU’s Honors Program in 2024, Bobbie taught courses in art history and humanities at Tallahassee State College and worked as Events and Outreach Coordinator for FSU’s College of Fine Arts. She has co-curated exhibitions on Cuban and Icelandic art and currently serves on the Exhibitions Committee for the Gadsden Arts Center and Museum in Quincy, Florida. Bobbie is also the Immediate Past-President for FSU’s Friends of Dance.

In her free time, Bobbie enjoys reading, traveling, exercising, and spending time with her family.
