Colloquium leaders

The University Honors Colloquium is a one-credit, pass/fail course required of all first-year Honors students. This course fulfills the Engage 100 requirement and provides a common experience for students in a dynamic classroom setting. Classes address intellectual, social, and personal development, assisting students in their transition from high school to college. The course also introduces participants to FSU and its various opportunities and resources and to one another. Colloquium sessions are led by advanced peer instructors from the University Honors Program, who guide students in discussions and exercises that help them make the most of their time at FSU.

For current Honors students interested in becoming Honors Colloquium Leaders, the application will be opened from October 1 - 31, 2023 and can be accessed here. For more information, contact Honors Student Engagement Specialist Julia Pennington.
