Ashley Archer Doehling

 

Ashley Archer Doehling is originally from Leesburg, Ga. She joined the Honors Program as a graduate assistant in August of 2018 and was hired full time as an Assistant Director in December of 2019.

In her role, Ashley coordinates student leadership and experiential learning opportunities for Honors students. Some of her specific projects include training Honors Colloquium Leaders and helping to develop the Colloquium course that new Honors students take, collaborating with HEP faculty and students on projects, advising the Honors Student Association (HSA), and restructuring the peer mentorship program. Ashley enjoys supporting students as they discover their leadership identities and their path in developing global citizenship.

Ashley earned her bachelor’s degree (2018) in Political Science from Georgia Southern University and her master’s degree (2020) in Higher Education from Florida State University. Currently, Ashley is pursuing her Ph.D. in Higher Education at Florida State. Her favorite places on campus, other than the Honors, Scholars, and Fellows House, are Argo Tea and the Stone Building.
