Each year, first-year University Honors students are enrolled in the Honors Colloquium. The colloquium provides a common intellectual experience for new honors students and is grounded in the dimensions of social, intellectual, and personal development and introduces students to the culture and opportunities of a modern research university. Each course meeting is led by an upper-class honors student trained on effective college teaching strategies who serves as a mentor, instructor, and resource to the first-year students. The Honors Program is proud to name 51 University Honors students as Honors Colloquium Leaders for the Fall 2022 semester.
Applications for Fall 2023 Honors Colloquium Leaders will open on October 14, 2022. If you have any questions about the application process, please contact Julia Pennington.
